Dr. Jim Graham was called to lead our church as pastor in December of 2002.  During his tenure our church has experienced an explosion in growth.  We are thankful for his leadership, his care for us, and his stirring sermons.  Dr. Graham has been serving in the ministry since 1986.  He is married to Pearleen Mercer of Wetumpka since 1990 and they have four lovely children.  Dr. Graham graduated from Samford University with a degree in education, then received his masters from New Orleans Seminary specializing in New Testament Biblical Studies followed by a doctorate in psychology from Southwest Seminary.

Darrell Jennings has been the Worship Leader at Coosada Baptist since May of 2004.  He is a 1994 graduate of UAB and has been serving in church ministry since 1989.  Darrell is married and has three beautiful daughters.  Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through music is one of the passions of Darrell's life. "It is my desire to help others use their gifts and talents in worship to Jesus Christ.  Music allows us to communicate our deep love for our risen Savior and draws us into His presence."

Wayne was called as the Minister of Education to Coosada Baptist Church on March 27, 2005. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama and has served in church ministry as minister to students, minister of music, and director of singles in churches in Alabama and Mississippi. Prior to coming to Coosada, Wayne served a church near Birmingham as their Minister of Education and Administration. He and Karen have three adult children and seven grandchildren. Wayne wants to help every member discover their spiritual "giftedness" and become so tuned into a relationship with Jesus that they don't want to miss Bible study time with other believers. He also wants guests to feel right at home whenever they visit a Bible study group. 

Lauri became the Minister of Children and Preschool in August 2008.  She is a 1986 graduate of Auburn University where she received her degree in Early Childhood Education for the Handicapped.  She taught in public schools for 6 years and taught preschool for 9 years. Lauri has been married to Cary since 1987 and they have 2 daughters, Jordan and Bethany.

Lauri has always known that children were her calling.  She loves them and the perspective they bring to life.  Her joy is watching the love of God shine through the children as they learn more of Him through fun activities, hearing God’s word, and helping others.

Bro. Larry became a Christian in July of 1961.  Larry married his lovely wife, Carolyn, in 1962.  Two years later, he was called to preach. Larry and Carolyn have two daughters and three grandchildren.

After graduating from the University of Mobile and Florida Baptist Theological College, Larry served for many years as a pastor throughout Alabama.  He concluded his full-time ministry as a Director of Missions for Tallapoosa Baptists for 12 years. Larry joined the staff of Coosada Baptist in February, 2007.

Jon is the Interim Youth Minister at Coosada Baptist.  He is from the Millbrook area where he graduated High School from Stanhope Elmore.  He received a business degree from the University of Alabama.  Currently, Jon is a full-time student at the Birmingham Extension of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he is working on a Masters of Divinity. Jon has a passion to serve the students at Coosada Baptist and his goal is to minister to them in a way that will enable spiritual development and growth in their lives.
